Jakub Frank (b. 1993) is a curator, theorist and art historian. He currently works as curator at Olomouc Museum of Art and head editor of the Central European Art Database. He used to work as a PR and communications manager at the PLATO gallery in Ostrava. Since 2013, he has been curator at the Galerie Cella and Hovorny and is a member of the Bludný kámen society based in Opava. Since 2017, he has been a curator at the exhibition section of the Luhovaný Vincent festival, and is also a member of the Olomouc-based collective 8848. Since 2020, he has been a co-curator of the Ostrava Kukačka festival. He is interested in mapping and promoting independent audiovisual culture and organizes exhibitions and concerts in Opava, Ostrava and Olomouc. In 2016, he co-founded the sleeping platform Kon:post which presents contemporary art.
