Lubná u Poličky

Přespolní is a non-profit organization which was created in 2017 and resides in the small village Lubná u Poličky. They organize exhibitions, residencies, the music festival Bučení and various educational programs, lectures and workshops. The organization resides on the edge of the village, using the spaces of the Kulturák Archa house, with its sculptural architecture created by Jiří Příhoda which was originally created for his exhibition Sochy at the Chateau Trója in Prague in 2016. After transferring to Lubná u Poličky, it started organizing regular exhibitions of contemporary artists. Another space which the project operates is the Kurník, a real hen house also containing a habitable part which functions as a studio and sleeping space. 5sil consists of five silos which used to serve grain storage and were transformed into an alternative exhibition space, as well as accommodating both human and animal residents. The Bučení festival takes place every year in the summer and focuses on experimental music and audiovisual art, welcoming artists from Czechia, Slovakia and abroad. It took place for the fourth time in 2021.
