KultiVary

KultiVary is a group of young people who have decided to develop the region of Karlovy Vary. They are trying to rejuvenate the region and change outside perspective on the locale also by speaking and writing about the region’s history and present, spreading awareness about the happenings and preparing various streams and podcasts. They organize interdisciplinary events which have so far been lacking in the region – e.g. open-air screenings, lectures and discussions. They also try to connect other local initiatives, creating an open facebook group “Spolupráce na kultuře Karlovarska” (Karlovy Vary Cultural Collaboration) and the “Kulturní pivo” (Cultural Beer) discussion platform intended for people who have been taking part in local cultural happenings. These initiatives have also spread to surrounding cities.
